So many million centuries ago, man, and the earth, and the whole universe were not. They were in an abyss of nothingness whence only the command of God was able to bring them forth. No creature could have drawn out a developed being from non-being even if any creature had been pre-existent. The mode in which something is created from nothing is absolutely inconceivable.
